Mr. Jeffery “Jeff” D. Moore, 46 of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at University of Maryland Medical Center. He was the husband of Maureen Sincevich Moore, his friend of 22 years and wife of 12.
Born December 11, 1967 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of Jerry Moore of Thurmont and the late Mary Ann Beveridge Moore.
Jeff started and operated several businesses from the time he was 19 years old including: Electrical Enterprises and American Diagnostic, a training and consulting firm. For the last 5 years he was the owner of Guardian Security and Investigation.
Despite the various businesses that he operated, Jeff was a teacher at heart. His special talent was to assimilate information and then relate it in a manner that was easy to understand. He was also an avid martial artist, enjoyed camping and telling humorously entertaining stories. Jeff was a self taught gourmet cook and loved playing his saxophone. He was a familiar face at many of the "open mic nights" around the Frederick, MD area.
Jeff loved spending quality time with all of his nephews, nieces and friends. One of Jeff's most extraordinary talents was his ability to make connections with people. He loved nothing better than helping others discover their own passions in life. He helped transform many lives for the better and he will be sorely missed.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a brother Ron Moore and wife Samantha of VA and their children Austin and Sam Moore. He is also survived by a very large and loving extended family, including his aunt, Janet Beveridge and godmother, Suzanne Lyman.
