George Stone Beck, Jr. passed away suddenly on June 18, 2017 in his home in Frederick, MD. Mr. Beck was born on June 15, 1976 in Washington, DC. He was the first son of George Stone Beck, Sr. and Antoinette Canton Beck. He graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in 1994. He married his high school sweetheart Kristin Wade Beck on April 28, 2001 in Naples, Florida. Together, they had three sons: Aidan Stone Beck, Keegan George Beck, and Rylan O’Neill Beck.
George had a successful career in the construction industry, most recently working for PBI Restorations as General Manager. George was beloved by all, always the life of the party and made friends everywhere he went.
Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his father George Stone Beck, Sr. and his father-in-law Jerry Douglas Wade. He is survived by his wife Kristin Wade Beck, his three sons Aidan Stone Beck, Keegan George Beck, and Rylan O’Neill Beck, his mother Antoinette Canton Beck, his six siblings: Daniel Canton Beck, Kathleen Cotter Grolton, James Cronin Beck, Conor Patrick Beck, Kelleen Connought Beck, and Liam James Beck, his brothers-in-law Erik Sean Grolton, Jerry Michael Wade, Brian Gallagher Wade, and Benjamin Daniel Wade, his sisters-in-law Sara Howard Beck and Christine Camera Wade, his mother-in-law Patricia Gallagher Wade, his step-mother-in-law Melody Wade, and his 8 nieces and nephews.
A visitation for friends and family will be held Friday June 23, 2017 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Stauffer’s Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike,Frederick, MD.
A funeral service will be held Saturday June 24, 2017 at 1pm at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 4103 Prices Distillery Road, Ijamsville, MD 21754. A reception to follow, all friends and family are welcome.
