Esther Edelen, 66, of Knoxville, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, MD
Born on November 30, 1951, in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Maxine Mary Patricia (Lamp) McDonald.
Mrs. Edelen was employed by Roy Rogers in Brunswick, MD for over 18 years as a cook and a trainer.
She enjoyed spending her time with her beloved dog Benji and horse Candy. She also enjoyed offering pony rides under Lonesome Pine Stables with her husband, Ron Edelen.
She is survived by husband, Ronald L. Edelen; son, Rich Payne; stepsons, Joseph Edelen, Shawn Edelen and Rob Edelen; stepdaughter Tammy Coble; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick.
A celebration of Esther's life journey will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Home in Brunswick. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
