Deborah Jean Stoner, 66, of Monrovia, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD
Born on February 10, 1951, in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Nelson Layton and Dorothy Jean (Wilkinson) Layton.
Debbi was a faithful member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, Mt. Airy, MD and UCLOR, Michigan.
She was committed to and the happiest when taking care of her family. She loved Cruising, spending time with her local and Michigan church families, and most especially, she loved her job. Debbi was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Talley.
She is survived by husband, James Stoner; children, Steven Stoner (Annette), Ronnie Stoner (Tifanni), Debbie Brown (Joe), and Greg Stoner; son-in-law, Bill Talley; grandchildren, Zachary and Rebecca Talley; brother, Walter Layton(Pam); sisters , Karen Dorsey (Mark) and Lisa Cruse (Dave). She is also survived by other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 3:00- 5:00 pm and 7:00 -9:00pm on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Mt. Airy), 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13356 Glissans Mill Road in Mt. Airy, MD. Interment will be privately held at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Laurel, MD
