Zelda Zentz

Mrs. Zelda C. Zentz, 95, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed away, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Gettyburg Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul N. Zentz.
Born March 22, 1919 in Rocky Ridge, MD., she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Ada Smith Sauble.
Mrs. Zentz was a member of the Reformed Church in Sabillasville. In earlier years she was employed at the Emmitsburg Shoe Factory. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, baking canning, and talking with friends about old times.
She is survived by her sons Albert Sauble and wife Ivy and Robert Zentz and wife Dottie all of Thurmont, her daughters Cheryl Hildebrand of Frederick, Carla Fitz of Waynesboro, Arlyn Boone and husband Larry of Frederick, Sheila D Sciarra and husband John of Florida and Vicki Rossi and husband Steve of Frederick, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her special friend Stuart Furman She was preceded in death by a son Paul "Mike" Zentz, a daughter Donna Zimmerman and her brothers Hasson and Ralph Sauble, a grandson Darren Boone, sons-in-laws Ron Lanphar, Bill Fitz, and William Hildebrand.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, Sunday, January 11, from 2-4 and 7-9:00 pm, where services will be held Monday, January 12 at 11:00 am.with Rev. Sean DeLawder officiating.
