Zachary Taylor Nokes, 23, of Knoxville, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
Born on July 1, 1997, in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Ricky and Carol (Link) Nokes.
Zach graduated from Boonsboro High School in 2015 and then went on to work in various trades from pipe fitting to maintenance.
Zach was not one to ever sit still. He could be found hunting, fishing, or working on cars.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Brandan Nokes, and his uncle, Andrew Link.
The family will receive friends from 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.
A celebration of Zachary's life journey will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road in Knoxville, Maryland. Rev. Calvin F. Park will officiate.
Interment will be at Brownsville Heights Cemetery in Knoxville, Maryland.
