Zachary Keeney

Zachary Rafe Keeney, 26 passed from this life on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was born on October 21, 1989 in Frederick Maryland.

Zachary was an avid hunter and loved being in the outdoors. He was very fond of fishing and visiting the family property in Virginia. He enjoyed riding four wheelers and spending time with his family and friends. Zachary had a fun, free spirit and enjoyed making others laugh! He had a smile that would light up the room! He enjoyed training for MMA fighting in which he won first place during an armature match.

Zachary is survived by his mother, Kelly Dugan and husband Greg, his father, Rafe Keeney and wife Laura. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Keeney, stepbrothers Michael and wife Karlie and Bradly Dugan, Seth Schubert,  maternal  grandparents Jesse and Marian Weaver, an aunt Terry Pendergraft and husband Danny, uncle Rich Keeney and wife Theresa, uncle Randy Keeney and wife Leslee, uncle Jake Keeney and Tammy Kline. Cousins, Josh, Ali and Hayley (Sullivan) Keeney, Jesse, Jacob and wife Katie, Shelby Pendergraft, Jaeger Keeney, Morgan and Lauren Keeney, Shane and Kelsey Clarke, and Lacee Fogel and husband Nick. He is also survived by numerous great aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a sister Rylee Keeney and paternal Grandparents Richard Sr. (Bing) and Dolores Keeney.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumstown Pike, Frederick, Maryland on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00PM.

The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family and sent to Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick MD 21702.
