Wonnie A. (Grubb) Sheffer, 79, of Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her home.
Born on July 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Holly Ann (Sharon) Grubb.
Mrs. Sheffer was employed at a Secretary at the Washington County Hospital for 20 years and also worked at the CVS Pharmacy on Wilson Boulevard as a Photo Lab Technician. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for 58 years.
She is survived by her husband, Victor L. Sheffer; one daughter, Sharon Lynne Griffith of Boonsboro; and her granddaughter Holly Kathryn Lushbaugh of Boonsboro.
Mrs. Sheffer was preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert L. and George W. Grubb.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at the Grace United Methodist Church, 712 Church Street, Hagerstown, Maryland. Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
