Winifred Rippeon

Mrs. Winifred Joan Rippeon, 91, of Frederick, MD passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Glade Valley Nursing Home.
Born February 19, 1924 in Oxfordshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Baden and Winifred Carpenter Bull.
Winifred worked as the head custodian for the Moose Lodge #371 for 25 years. She enjoyed shopping, dancing and singing. Winifred was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children Shirley Cole of Frederick, Michael Rippeon of WV, Wayne Rippeon and wife Marian of Sharpsburg and Tony Rippeon and wife Lori of Frederick; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; step brother John Cleaver and wife Sylvia of Oxfordshire, England and cousin Joy V. Haynes of Oxfordshire, England.
She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Rippeon and wife Debbie and her brother Ronald Carpenter.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM where a funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20 at 11AM.
Interment will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery.
