Willis Drummer

Willis S. Drummer, 92, of Adamstown, formerly of Keedysville, died Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of Ruth O. Drummer whom he married September 6, 1947.

Born May 12, 1923 he was the son of the late William L. and Emma (Weber) Drummer.

Mr. Drummer honorably served in the United States Navy. He was a graduate of the John's Hopkins University with a degree in engineering. He worked for the General Electric Company 30 plus years.

He was a member of the Araby United Methodist Church. Additionally, he was a member of the Maryland Continuing Care Residents Association, and served as president of Buckingham's Choice Residents Association, also he was member of the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Foundation, and a member of the VFW.

Willis was preceded in death by his brother, William L. Jr.; twin sisters, Emma and Irma and sister, Helen.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Araby United Methodist Church, 4548 Araby Church Road, Frederick, MD.

Private inurnment will take place in the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stauffer Funeral Home and Stauffer Crematory, Inc.
