Willis Eugene Brewbaker, Jr.

Willis Eugene Brewbaker Jr., 67, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, September 15, 2023, at home in Frederick, MD. He was the beloved husband of Cindy Brewbaker for 45 years.

Born on March 2, 1956, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Willis Eugene, Sr. and Margaret Jane (Penner) Brewbaker.
Will was a 1974 graduate of Robert E. Peary High School in Rockville, Maryland. He then attended Montgomery College, graduating with a degree in accounting. 

He was employed with the Montgomery County Liquor Control Board for 34 years.

For more than a decade, Will mentored countless youth as both a coach and basketball commissioner with the Ballenger Creek Recreation Council of the Monocacy Basketball Youth Association. 
Will was a classic and muscle car fanatic and loved to spend time working on them and attending car shows. He was also an avid Washington Nationals and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed bowling, fantasy football, peanut m&m’s, classic rock, and country music. He never turned down a Ledo’s Pizza. 
Will loved spending time with his family, vacations to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and sitting on his deck with his beloved golden retrievers, Bailey and Bella, by his side. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Brandon Brewbaker and wife Daniell, Brent Brewbaker and wife Megan, and grandchildren, Bree, Connor, Cody, and Paislee. 
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of Willis's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Brookeville, MD. 

Memorial donations can be made in Will’s name to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund.
