Willie Ruth Lacy

Mrs. Willie Ruth Lacy, 76, of Falling Waters, W VA, passed away gracefully Thursday, October 16, 2008 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Gary Elwood Lacy.
Born July 8, 1932 in Saltsville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Susie Burgess Doane.
Mrs. Lacy was currently a caregiver at the Berkley Senior Services, a career well suited to her special qualities. She enjoyed quilting, reading, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons Clay Miller and wife Maryann of Rockville, MD, Toby Miller and companion Karen Gearing of Cumberland, MD, Mike Lacy and wife Sue of Germantown, MD and Debbie Crowell and husband Tom of Mansfield, MA, Eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters Gladys Hogston and Dottie Costello and two brothers Robert and Tony Doane. Many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Clayton Hoyt Miller and a sister Fay Taylor.

Services:
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Saturday, October 25 from 3 - 5 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Robert E. Steinke officiating.
Interment will be private.
