Mr. William Kneedeep Mark Ziegler, 53, of Middletown, formerly of Olney, died on Wednesday, November 26th, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Shurleen C. ( Carlen ) Ziegler.
Born on September 22, 1955 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late John and Lillian ( Koch ) Ziegler.
Mr. Ziegler was a graduate of St. Johns' College High School, Washington, DC and was a member of the Junior ROTC. His career was in the I.T. industry as a computer programer. In his earlier years he worked for the National Park Service and was a member of their Living History Program at Great Falls. He liked history and was active in Civil War reenactments. Kneedeep was a self taught musician, enjoying Bluegrass and played with the band Brandystation. Mr. Ziegler dedicated much of his time to service work for A.A.
Surviving beside his wife are two daughters; Adrienne Ziegler, Valerie Ziegler, two brothers; James Ziegler and wife Carolyn, Kurt Ziegler, one sister Carol Ziegler and
one niece Jaclyn Ziegler.
Visitation:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marina Flores
officiating. Interment will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Parklawn Cemetery,
Rockville.
Services: Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Monday, December 1st, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
