William "Hard Hat" Roberts

Mr. William Henry "Hard Hat" Roberts, 83, of Frederick, MD passed away Friday, April 3, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Mary Roberts.
Born August 12, 1931 in Redland, MD he was the son of the late Wilbert and Hannah Marjorie Roberts.
William was a Custom Farmer and enjoyed his work very much. He enjoyed his John Deere tractors and sleeping in his recliner. He also loved meeting his friends at McDonald's for coffee.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his step-children Thelma Osborne and husband Paul of Frederick,MD, Stanley Davis and wife Eunice of Winchester, VA and Joanne Green and husband Butch of Jefferson, MD; two sisters Diane Raab of PA and Mary Looney of PA, brother James Roberts of MD; and many step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 1-2PM where a service will begin at 2PM. Kenny Fitzwater will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Germantown Baptist Church Cemetery.
