William F. Little

Mr. William F. Little, 80 of Mt. Airy, MD., (formerly of Rockville) died Sunday, January 3, 2010 in Charleston, SC. He was the husband of the late Margaret M. Little.
Born February 10, 1929 in Warwick, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Thomas H and Augusta A. Kervick Little.
Mr. Little was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion. He graduated from Bryant College in Rhode Island with a bachelors degree.
He is survived by 4 children John F. Avery and wife Judith of Cumberland, MD, Joanne A. Drury and husband Tim of Edgewater, FL, Michael W.. Little and wife Heidi of Charleston, SC and Thomas H. Little and wife Sherri of Mt. Airy, 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren, and a brother Eugene T. Little of Coventry, RI.
He was preceded in death by a son Charles Avery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville, Blvd., Mt. Airy on Thursday, January 7, from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m. From St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1125 St. Michael's Road, Poplar Spring, MD with Father Michael Ruane as celebrant. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery.
