William E. {Bill} Grosmick

July 22, 1955 — October 30, 2008



Mr. William E. Grosmick, 53, of Monrovia, MD, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Johns Hopkins Bay View Hospital. He was the husband of Tami Grosmick for 18 years.

He was born on July 22, 1955, in Camden, NJ. At the age of nine, Bill's mother, Marie, passed away and his father, Milton, married Patricia, and she and Milton raised Bill.

Bill entered the US Army in 1973 and served until 1982. He attended and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from National Lewis University.

Working in computer management for most of his career, he co-owned NETCORP (Network Engineering Technologies Corp) with his partner Brian Lewis for ten years. For his business, he traveled the world working in various embassies contracting with the US Government. He also worked several years with American Systems Corporation in Virginia.

A member of Greenridge Baptist Church in Clarksburg, MD, he was very involved with his Sunday School class. He loved to devote his time to helping his friends fix any mechanical problems around their homes. But mostly, he loved the time spent with his devoted wife and loving sons and the precious moments he had with them.

Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his two sons at home, Tyler William and Evan Michael; his mother, Patricia Grosmick of Woodbury, PA; his grandmother, Peggy Yannut of Martinsburg, PA; his aunts and uncles Al and Jean Grosmick of Delaware and Peg and Bob Lloyd of Florida; several cousins also survive him.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008, at 3:00 PM at the Greenridge Baptist Church, 21925 Frederick Road, Clarksburg, MD 20871 with Pastor Tim Simpson.

A memorial fund set up for Bill's sons has been established and donations may be sent to: Lori Kuncheff, 13245 Manor Terrace, Mt. Airy, MD 21771.
