William (Bill) Huffman

Mr. William (Bill) Huffman, 82, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marie Huffman.
Born January 9, 1932 in Wheeling, WV, he was the son of the late George E. and Anna Rykowski Huffman.
Mr. Huffman proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Department of Defense prior to his retirement. He was a golfing enthusiast. He was an American Kennel Club Judge for 30 years. He trained his own dogs to many titles. He had been a volunteer with Frederick Memorial Hospital since 1993contributing over 6000 hours of service.
He will be greatly missed and his absence deeply felt.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons Bill, Jr., Paul (and Jenny), Kevin (and Laurie) and Jeff (and Joan). 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Frederick Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 3-7PM.
Interment will be private.
