William "Bill" Glensor

June 23, 1962 — December 27, 2019

William Ronald Glensor, 57, of Monrovia, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, December 27, 2019.

Born on June 23, 1962, in New York, he was the son of  Margaret Pauline (Barry) Glensor and the late Ronald William Glensor.

He held a passionate career in Food Service, beginning with Roy Rogers and transitioned to the McDonald's Corporation for 36 years.

He was the loving husband of Katie Ann Glensor, his wife for over 34 years.

Bill never met a stranger and truly enjoyed making a difference in the lives of his friends and family. He enjoyed family beach trips, sailing, camping with the Boy Scouts and was an avid Ravens fan. Bill was also active in his church, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Katie he is survived by his children, Allison Helen Glensor, Jordan William Glensor and  Jacob Edward Glensor; sisters, Patricia Semon and her husband, Ken, Barbara Schall and her husband, Martin; brother, Charlie Glensor and his wife, Vera; his beloved dog, Dixie and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Cedarbrook Community Church, 23700 Stringtown Road Clarksburg, Maryland 20871. A celebration of Bill's life will follow at 11:00 a.m. A reception to follow after services at the church.

Interment Private

In lieu flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald Hous e, or the EOD Warrior Foundation .
