William "Bill" Eyler

William " Bill" E. Eyler, 75, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life suddenly on Friday, September 22, 2017.
Born on June 24, 1942, in Rocky Ridge, MD, he was the son of the late Bruce Paul Eyler and Luttie Lenore (Singer) Eyler.
He retired from Thurmont Co-Op in 2006.
Bill loved wood working, fishing, hunting and spending time with his 9 month old great grandson, his pride and joy, Finn.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Theresa Eyler, his son, Darren Eyler and his wife Susan, his daughter, Donna Saylor and her companion, Rick Poole. Grandfather of Shane and his fiance Mallory Kreps and ShaLeigh Saylor and her fiance Eric Hobbs and Tori Knight and her husband, Jason and Dillon Eyler. Great grandfather of Finn Saylor.
He is preceded in death by his 5 brothers, 1 sister, 1 son in law and his mother and father in law, Constance E. and Donald G. Bowers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD.
A celebration of Bill's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD.
Deacon Darrell Smith will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Rocky Ridge, MD.
