William Turley

Mr. William Blaine Turley,93, of Timonium, MD passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Frederick, MD. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma H. Turley.
Born October 16, 1924 in Indiana, PA he was the son of the late Lloyd and Jean (Blaine) Turley.
William proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, 1943-1946, as a gunner and bombardier in the U.S. Navy Air Corps. He received his Bachelors of Science from Indiana University of Western, PA, in Indiana, PA before accepting a position at Commercial Credit Corporation in 1950. He worded for Commercial Credit for 37 years and retired as Vice Chairman.
He is survived by his son, William Kirk Turley and wife Sheri and daughter Sally Dubrin and husband Marlin. In addition, 4 grandchildren, Christopher Turley, Megan Cole, Matthew
Durbine, and Lauren Durbin-Danai.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6-8PM.
Interment will follow Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 1PM at Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
