Mr. William James "BJ" Sewell, 30, of Hagerstown, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 26, 2012. He was the fiance' of Tisheena Tritle.
Born December 8, 1981 in Frederick, he was the son of Cheryl James Sewell of Frederick, and the late Andrew Ernest Sewelll, Jr., who predeceased him in 1991.
BJ was involved in a car accident five years ago which left him a paraplegic. Prior to his accident, he was a construction worker.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother and fiance', BJ is survived by two children, UnJay Janell Sewell and William James Sewell; a sister, Taniesha Sewell; two brothers, Darnell Sewell and Andrew Sewell; his grandmothers, Geraldine James and Ernestine Sewell; and his grandfather, Andrew Sewell, Sr.
He also will be remembered by his best friends, Donnie Brown, Jason Abell and Marty Magruder; and a special cousin, Marty Boyce.
BJ was predeceased by his father; a grandfather, William Henry James; an aunt, Cheryl Hackett; and a special friend, Robert Dorsey.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.. Officiating will be BJ's uncle, the Rev. Nathaniel Ferrell.
Interment will be private.
