William "Andrew" Garland, 29, of Frederick, MD passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
Born April 8, 1983 in Olney, MD he was the son of Penny Garland of Woodbine, MD and the late Gary Garland.
Andrew was a 2001 graduate of Glenelg High School. He was an avid Redskins fan, and enjoyed watching football with his brothers. Andrew also enjoyed, music, biking, running and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his brothers Charles Randolph Garland and wife Jessica of Sykesville and Daniel Carress Garland and wife Logan of Frederick; nephews Maxwell, William, Jack and Nicholas; his girlfriend Beth Loveland of Mt. Airy and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents William and Helen Bromley and his grandmother June Garland.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 2 PM at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michael's Rd., Mt. Airy, MD. Rev. Michael Ruane will be the celebrant.
Interment will be private.
