William “Frank” Fincham, 85, of Mount Airy, MD, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Frederick Health & Rehab in Frederick, MD.
Born on July 3, 1938, in Little Washington, VA, he was the son of the late Ernest W. Fincham and Annie May (Frazier) Fincham.
He went to school in Flint Hill, VA.
Frank worked at IBM from 1973-1992, in Manassas VA, he also worked in Austin TX, and Gaithersburg, MD as security.
He was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Association.
Frank was an outdoorsman, fishing was a favorite hobby of his. He enjoyed baseball, and softball, he even coached teams in VA, and TX, he was also part of the team at IBM. Frank loved the Lord, spreading his word and guiding people to the Lord was important to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of over forty years, Barbara Elizabeth Fincham, granddaughters Jill, Mary and Jamie, as well as great-grandchildren. Niece, Charlotte Parsons (Chet), and grandniece's, Donna, Robin, Dana, Kim and Dennise.
In addition to his parent's he is preceded in death by his daughters, Debbie, and Jennifer; sister Florence Fellers (James); grandchildren Emmline, and Charlie; niece's Betty Blau and Peggy Fellers, and nephew James Franklin Fellers Jr.
A celebration of Frank's life journey will take place at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt Airy, MD 21771 on, Monday, March 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Pastor's Hank Butler and Kevin Beall will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery following services.
