William Etheridge, Sr.

Mr. William Clifton Etheridge, Sr. 65 of Frederick peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown. He was the husband of Delores Ross Etheridge, his loving wife of thirty years.
Born on August 28, 1947, in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Leslie and Elizabeth Jennings Etheridge. Also surviving are son, William Clifton Etheridge, Jr, grandson Mehki William Clifton Etheridge, III, step-daughter, Sheila D. Ross, granddaughter, Sha'tara S. Swinson, grandsons: Ca'vaelus R. Swinson, De'Antre Clinton and great granddaughter, Serenity Faison; two brothers, two sisters, two brother-in-laws, three sister-in-laws; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Tamara L. Ross and three brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 11, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where the family will be present to receive friends one hour prior to the service time.
