William Clevenger, Jr.

William Thomas Clevenger, Jr. 36, of Brunswick, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

William was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2007. He found great pleasure in horseback riding and wood working. He had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and enjoyed philosophical debates.

He is survived by his father, William, Sr., his mother, Patricia Simmons and step mother, Kathy Clevenger; seven brothers and sisters, Hope Hargrave and husband, Aaron, Daniel Patterson, Jacob Carter, Brianna Simmons, Tahrel Simmons, Damion Simmons and Sha'ree Simmons; three nephews, Clayton Swiger, Triston and Ethan Hargrave.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with Rev. Tim May officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
