Mr. William R. Bollinger, Jr., 69, of Frederick, died Monday May 13, 2013 at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehab Center. He was the husband of Connie Young Bollinger.
Born in Gettysburg, he was the son of Carrie M. Bollinger of Keymar and the late William R. Bollinger, Sr.
He was owner and operator of Bollinger's Painting Business for 39 years.
He was always willing to help someone, and his friends and family were very important to him. Mr. Bollinger liked all animals, trees, flowers, gardening and projects around the house.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sisters, Emma Main and husband, Monroe, and Edna Martin and husband, Lamar; his mother-in-law, Katherine (Kitty) Young; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Butch Kline, Sandra Young-McCauley, Robinn and Paul Ebersole, George Young, Terrie and Bernie Sellers, and Daphne and Rich Fager; many aunts and uncles, including a special aunt, Katherine (Toots) Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.
He also will be remembered by several very special friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17 from the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Larry Eubanks.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
