William (Bill) Robert Scott

William (Bill) Robert Scott ,81, of Frederick, Maryland, entered eternal rest on July 30, 2024. He was a native of Frederick, born on January 28, 1943, to the late William Franklin Scott and Rose Mary Scott.

He was educated in Frederick and worked for years in the construction business. He was a member of Laborer’s Local Union #616 for many years. 

Bill enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with his nephews, taking long walks and would help anyone who needed a helping hand. He looked forward to spending time with family on holidays.

He is survived by his children: Daughter, Beatrice (Tina) Davis of York, PA

And son, Quankeiair (Master) Scott of Frederick, MD; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Siblings: Joyce Scott, Gloria Lyles of Frederick; Ellen Tubaya (Rico)of Baltimore; Richard (Charlotte) Scott of Frederick; Clifford (Rebecca) Scott of Lewistown, PA; Deborah Scott of Augusta, GA; John Scott of Frederick. Bill also has several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember him. He will also be remembered by special relatives John Henry Giles and James T. Lyles and friends John Disney and Courtney

He was preceded in death by parents William and Rose Mary Scott; brother James (Jim) Scott; nephews: Jimmy L. Lyles; David Parker; and niece: Queshia Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD where a celebration of Bill's life journey will take place at 11am. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery - Frederick in Frederick, MD.
