William (Bill) Beith, 97, of Lorien Mt. Airy, died Thursday, April 12, 2012.  Born
August 9, 1914 in Freehold, NJ to John and Jessie Beith, he was a weaver, realtor, store owner and operations engineer.  He was predeceased in death by his loving wife, Janet Rhea, after almost 70 years of marriage.

Bill was active in the Presbyterian Church, serving as an elder for over 61 years.  He was Past Master of Central Lodge 44, Vincentown, NJ, serving terms in 1948 and 1984, Past President of Mt. Holly Kiwanis Club and Past Patron of Eastern Star Chapter 47, Mt. Holly, NJ from 1947-49.  He was a member of Good Intent Fire Company and volunteered at Masonic Home in Burlington, NJ.  After moving to Beverly Hills, FL in 1988, he was Past President of Citrus Shrine Club in Inverness, volunteered at Citrus Memorial Hospital and enjoyed golf, even making a hole-in-one.

Mr. Beith is survived by two sons, John “Jack” (Diane) of Carriere, MS and Albert (Nancy) of Mt. Airy, MD, four grandsons Andrew, Scott, Timothy and David, four great-grand-daughters Elizabeth, Stella, Isabella and Emma, as well as several nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by a sister Isabelle and two brothers Cecil and Donald.

A memorial service will be held at Lorien Mt. Airy in June.   Burial will be at a later date.
