Mr. Willard A. "Bud" Bishoff, 87 , of Frederick, MD passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Louise Bishoff.
Born on February 2, 1927 in Manheim, WV he was the son of the late Arthur Herman and Nina Otis Tayman Bishoff.
Bud proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He then worked for 47 years at Alpha Portland Cement, later known as Essroc Cement, retiring as a Chief Chemist. Bud enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid reader and sports fan.
He is survived by his children John Arthur Bishoff of Frederick and Leslie Neil Bishoff and wife Candy of Frederick; brother Howard Bishoff of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law Red Stevens and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Theodore and sister Dorothy.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 3-5PM where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28 at 11AM. Pastor Francis VanDelden will officiate.
Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
