Willa Ricketts

Mrs. Willa Lea Ricketts,80 , passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, at the Quincy Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Waldo Ricketts, Sr. for 64 years.
Born November 27, 1936 in VA she was the daugther of the late Allen J. and Alisee Yeary.
Willa enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, reading, crafts and crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her five children, David Ricketts and significant other Susan Green, Waldo C. "Rick" Ricketts, Jr. and wife Abbie, Linda Bowers and husband Brion, Donna Hesse and significant other Ronnie Gladhill, and Jeff Ricketts; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Ricketts.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 5-7PM. A memorial service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 28 at 2PM.
