Wilda I. (Culp) Eschbach, 83, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport, Maryland.
Born on November 29, 1928, in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Harry Clifford and Jessie (Stotler) Culp.
Wilda retired in 1988 from the Department of Agriculture.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Boonsboro.
Wilda is survived by her husband, Robert A. Eschbach of Boonsboro; one daughter, Margaret E. Viegas and husband Roque of Bowie, Maryland; one son, Robert A. Eschbach and wife Barbara of Sharpsburg; two sisters, Shirley and husband Donald Faith of Hagerstown and Sue Gregory and husband Gordon of Berkeley Springs; and two grandchildren, Robert A. and Karen Eschbach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul C. Eschbach; a sister, Virginia DeLawder; and a brother, Leon Culp.
A Mass Of Christian Celebration will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church, 121 North Main Street, Boonsboro. Rev. John J. Jicha will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will be held privately by the family.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, with prayers being offered at 7 p.m.
