Wilbur Brittle

Mr. W. Alvan Brittle, 97, of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Mt. Airy, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Trynie S. Brittle; his wife of 68 years.

Born on July 28, 1918 in Irvington New Jersey he was the son of the late Wilbur P. and Cecile Wells Brittle.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Anne Lee, Tom Brittle, John Brittle, and Eveleen Livermore; 25  grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he dearly loved.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on  Saturday, September 26, at Christadelphian Chapel, 9240 Riggs Rd. , Adelphi, MD 20783.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CBMA, 567 Astorian Dr., Simi Valley, CA 93065  or Holy Cross Home Care & Hospice, 11800 Tech Road, Suite 240, Silver Spring , MD 20904.
