W. Davis DeLauder Sr.

W. Davis DeLauder Sr., age 98, of Coffman Avenue, Hagerstown, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at his home.
Born March 9, 1910 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Walter Scott and Rebecca Marie Davis DeLauder.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Roulette DeLauder, Nov. 20, 2008.
He had been employed by Fridinger's, Inc. for many years as an oil burner mechanic.
He was a member of Church of the Holy Trinity where he was elder emeritus and had been a Sunday school teacher.
He is survived by one daughter, Yvonne D. Breslin of Gilbert, AZ; one son, Walter D. DeLauder Jr. of Scottsdale, AZ; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Thursday at Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg. The Rev. Tim Leighton will officiate.
Friends may call on Wednesday from noon to 5 P.M. at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro.
