Mr. Wayne S. Wilt, 61 of Frederick, Maryland, died Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Peggy Burdette Wilt.

Born September 5, 1946 in Frederick, MD., he was the son of Eleanor Smith Wilt of Adamstown and the late Vivian S. Wilt.

Wayne was a graduate of Frederick High School 1966 and then served his Country, in the U. S. Army from 1966 to 1969. He retired from Eastalco after 28 � years of service.

Mr. Wilt was a past member of the Catoctin Mountain Street Rod Assoc. He was always involved with cars,repairing and enjoying spending time in his garage.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by three children Tracey Wilt, Melanie Divel and husband Kenneth all of Frederick and Holly McDonald, three grandchildren Kenneth W. Divel, Autumn Divel and Brandon Wilt, his brother Gwin Wilt and wife Marlene of Libertytown and his sister Joy Clem and husband David of Adamstown, his mother-in-law Martha Burdette and brother-in-laws Charles Burdette, David Burdette and Donald Burdette and wife Jo. He will also be remembered by his honorary daughter Star Sirota and Earl Buddy Sears.

He was preceded in death by two nephews Brandon Burdette and Jason Gloyd and his father-in-law Lewis Burdette.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Monday, November 5, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m

Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 6, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Joseph Burdette officiating.

Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
