Wayne Lee Moser

Wayne Lee Moser, 78, of Hagerstown, passed away on November 9, 2023 at Meritus Medical Center.  He was the son of the late Helen Louise Smith Moser and Roland Elwood Moser.

He was a 1963 graduate of Boonsboro High School and was employed at Jamison Door Company for 47 and a half years.  He was a member of Izaak Walton League of America from 1974 until his passing.  Mr. Moser especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.

The family would like to especially thank his nurses at Meritus, Mollie Mandell and CD Day.

He is survived by a son, Brian Wayne Moser and wife Julie of Hagerstown; step grandchildren: Jessica Hart and Ricky Long and wife Ashley; 5 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter, as well as a brother, Richard E. Moser.  He will also be missed by his dear furry companion Buster.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Beth Ann Moser as well as his companion, Ellen Doyle.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at San Mar.
