Wayne Metz

Wayne “Buck” Metz, 77, of Sharpsburg, Maryland passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020. He was the husband of Brenda Metz.
Born on November 3, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph and Flosse (Jones) Metz. He spent 11 years in the Navy, attending trade schools and serving on ships, and he served two tours in the Vietnam War. Buck retired from the Metro Transit Authority in Washington DC and worked for several years at EastAlco in Frederick. He was definitely a Mr. Fix-It, he was a Master Electrician, a carpenter, plumber and a Mechanic. He loved working with his hands in his various trades.
In addition to his wife Brenda, Buck is survived by his daughters, Michelle Metz and Susan (Metz) Franceschina and husband David; granddaughters, Abby, Katie and Jackie Franceschina; his brothers, Joe (Buster) Metz and wife Becky and Mike Metz and wife Jennie; his sister, Rose Schriver and sister-in-law, Linda Metz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Marvin and an infant sister.
Services will be private.
