Warren E. Bentz

Mr. Warren E. Bentz, 74 of Walkersille, MD went home to be with Jesus Monday, May 5, 2008 at his home. He was the husband of Mary L. Smith Bentz his wife of 53 years.

Born December 30, 1933 in Emmitsburg, MD, he was the son of the late James Brooke and Grace Virginia Wood Bentz.

Mr. Bentz was a member of the South End Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He retired after 20 years as an office manager at United Concrete. He served his Country in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children Bryan Bentz and fiance Dawn Page of Brunswick, Brenda King and husband Bruce of Fairfield, PA, Beverly Spahr and husband Robin of Rocky Ridge and Beth Morgan and fiance Steve Dunn of Chesterfield, Va., six grandchildren Gabriel Bentz, Hope Burdette, Joshua Colson, Lauren Morgan, Jesse King and Zachary Morgan, three great grandchildren, a brother Fred Bentz of Thurmont and a sister Lois Wisner and husband Jack of Walkersville.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Fuenral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, May 8 from 2- 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

Services: Services will be held at the South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrollton Drive, Frederick on Friday, May 9, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor J. Kenneth Stalls officiating.
