Warren Roelkey

Warren Steven Roelkey, 52, of Keedysville, Maryland, passed suddenly from this life to the next on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
Born on May 25, 1959, in Olney, Maryland, he is the son of Robert W. and Elinore J. (Grimes) Roelkey, Sr. of Boonsboro, Maryland.
Warren graduated from Boonsboro High School in 1977, and had been a member of Weverton Baptist Church.
He had been formerly employed with Shenandoah Plastics, General Cable and Tamko Building Products in Frederick. Most recently, he was an employee of Eaton Corporation in Williamsport, Maryland.
Warren was an avid NASCAR and Baltimore Ravens Fan. He will be deeply missed and will be fondly remembered for his love of his daughter, Regan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Keisha N. (Wilson) Roelkey; two daughters, Regan N. Roelkey and Stephanie M. Roelkey; his step-daughter Ripley Wittig and his step-son Cooper Wittig; six brothers and sisters, Bill Grimes and wife Ruth of Boonsboro, Betty Eichelberger and husband Gary of Williamsport, Jane Hammond and husband Dennis of Yarrowsburg, Maryland, Michael Roelkey and wife Rhonda of Rocky Ridge, Maryland, Tim Roelkey and wife Sharon of Hagerstown, and Trisha Roelkey of Boonsboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Warren was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandy L. Roelkey and Lisa Ann Roelkey; and one brother, Robert W. Roelkey, Jr.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Rev. Charles R. Holder will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Brownsville Heights Cemetery in Brownsville, Maryland.
Friends are invited to visit beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the funeral home, where the family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
