Wanda Lightfoot

Mrs. Wanda Jean Lightfoot, 79, of Gaithersburg , died on Saturday May 7, 2011 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital , Rockville . She was the wife of the late Andrew John Lightfoot.
Born on January 1, 1932 , in Rainelle , West Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Jesse Paul and Florence Boggs May.
She loved spending time with her family and most of all her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children; John A. Lightfoot and wife Sandy of Germantown and Pamela J. Holsinger and husband Dan of Brunswick. Grandchildren; Christopher J. Lightfoot and wife Jamie of Claremont, FL, Laura L. Stayin and husband Todd of Reston, VA., Jennifer Wenner and husband Daniel of Knoxville and Mark Holsinger and wife Sara of Hagerstown. Great grandchildren; Max, Joe, Elle, Cara, Joel, Grant, Sean and Gage. One brother, Herbert B. May Sr. and wife Connie of Rainelle, WV.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Celesta Snyder and Leonora Counts, and one brother, Gordon May.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2011 from 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue , Brunswick , where funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday May 11, 2011 . Pastor Ed Jordan will officiate. Interment will follow in Park Heights Cemetery , Brunswick .
