Walter D. Folger, Jr.

Walter D. Folger, Jr. 68, of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Gettysburg Lutheran Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born December 9, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late Walter and Genevieve Folger.
He was a graduate of Milford Mill High School. In 1964 he received his undergraduate degree and in 1966 his Masters both from the Maryland Institute of Art.
He previously was a Professor at Hood College and most recently a Professor at Frederick Community College.
He enjoyed photography, art and antiques.
He is survived by his son, Marcus Folger and wife Beth of Gettysburg, three grandchildren, Jennifer Zanella, Evan Folger and Weston Folger all of Gettysburg.
He is preceded in death by his son, Alexander Folger.

Services:
A memorial service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM where the family will be present to receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment will be private.
