Walter W. Furr

Walter W. Furr, 76, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Martinsburg VA Center.
Born on August 19, 1945, in Redlands, MD, he was the son of Elwood H. Furr and Mable L. (Frank) Furr.

Walter served in the United States Army from 1968-1970.

Walter was self-employed and worked in construction.

Walter enjoyed being outdoors, he hunted, spent time with his many dogs and enjoyed horse racing.

He is survived by his brothers Buddy Furr and Gary Furr; son Travis Furr; stepson Stanley Mundy and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Walter's life journey will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Walter’s memory to the Berkley County Humane Society, 554 Charlestown Road, Martinsburg, Virginia.
