Walter Dasher

Mr. Walter W. Dasher, 91 of Adamstown, formerly of Vero Beach, Florida, died on Sunday April 6, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Dolores M. Dasher.
Born on June 16, 1922 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late James and Ruth Schaeffer Dasher.
Walter served in the U. S. Navy Seabees during WWII.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children Melissa Gallagher and husband Joseph of Adamstown, James Dasher of Chicago, and Paul Dasher and wife Elizabeth of New Jersey. Brothers Ralph and Glenn Dasher of Pennsylvania. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Henry and brothers Lloyd and Bob Dasher.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday April 12, 2014 at St. Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor Catholic Church, 5843 Manor Woods Rd. Frederick. Rev. Lawrence K. Frazier will officiate. Inurnment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Frederick Memorial Hospital, P. O. Box 1799 Frederick, MD 21702.
