Walter Cooley

Mr. Walter Nelson Cooley, 85, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy.
Born on May 22, 1932, in Salisbury, NC, he was the son of the late Walter Jacob and Grace Myers Cooley.
He graduated from NC School For The Deaf, Morganton, NC in 1953.
He worked mainly in textile industry for many years.
He is survived by two sons: James Cooley of Frederick and Harold Cooley of Lake Lure, NC, two grandchildren: Justin Cooley and Rachel Cooley; a brother, Richard Cooley and a sister, S. Dianne Hause. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilton Cooley.
A celebration of Walter's life journey will take place on Sunday, March 25 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at Deaf Calvary Church, 10034 Hansonville Road, Frederick, MD 21702, Interment will be private.
