Wallace W. Stickley Sr. 74, of Ijamsville, passed away on July 25, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Janie E. Stickley.
Born on April 3, 1938 in Washington D. C., he was the son of the late Vernon B. and Evelyn Stanford Stickley.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Stephen E Stickley and wife Justine, Wallace W. Stickley Jr., Catherine Smith and Troy L. Stickley and wife Shannon. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One sister Jane Frances Butler and husband Gerald. He was preceded in death by brothers Vernon Jr. and Dale Stickley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 29, 2012 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel. The family will received friends two hours prior from 1-3pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Fairview Chapel, 6802 Boyers Mill Road New Market , MD, 21774 or to the New Market Volunteer Fire Department, 57 West Main Street New Market, MD 21774.
