Wallace K. Beck, Jr., 73, of Frederick, Maryland passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Rose M. Beck for 36 years.
Wally was born on November 22, 1944 in Hilo, Hawaii; he was the son of the late Wallace K., Sr. and Elizabeth C. K. "Momi" (Spencer) Beck.
Wally proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Network/Computer Specialist for General Electric in both Bethesda and Rockville, Maryland. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; he will be sorely missed by all. Wally’s life-long love for Hawaii, its music, competitive sports (swimming, tennis, softball, golf, and volleyball), and ohana (family) was undeniable.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Wallace K. "Kealii" Beck III, Lacia K. Benson, as well as John Anthony Dangler, Rose Davis, and Mike Dangler; ten grand children, and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2-3PM where a memorial service will begin at 3P
At 3 o'clock there will be a service by his good friend and Bible Study Teacher, Jim Tomalewski.
Interment will be private.
