Mrs. Vivian L. Ramsburg, 87 of Adamstown, MD., died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Vindobona Nursing Home. She was the wife of Richard Ramsburg.
Vivian was born December 1, 1921 in Frederick, MD.
In earlier years Mrs. Ramsburg worked at Lily Ponds, FSK Hotel (1969), and at the Truck Stop. She enjoyed raising horses and won many trophies for showing her horses in the local parades. She also enjoyed historical research, crafting and crocheting and was also a Girl Scout Leader.
She is survived by a daughter Michelle Ramsburg Moore and husband Robert of Weaverton, MD, her grandchildren Scott Moore, Robbie, Crissy, Russell and Michael, her step-children Robert Ramsburg, James Ramsburg, Jinney Ramsburg and Grace Goff.. Vivian will also be remembered by her friends Marc Laborde, Darlene White and husband Richard and Nancy Knor.
She was preceded in death by three children Terrance Fleetwood, Sharon Vanderpool and Edith Clevenger, step-son Richard Ramsburg and her first husband Terrance Fleetwood.
Visitation: Friends may call at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, May 14, from 3 - 5 and 6 - 8:00 p.m
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Utica Cemetery.
