Vivian Clipp

Vivian Elaine Clipp, 84, of Keedysville, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Cadia Healthcare of Hagerstown in Hagerstown, Maryland.  She was the beloved wife of Joseph Clipp.

Born on March 27, 1937, in Washington Co., MD, she was the daughter of  the late Albert and Angie  (Griffith) Moats.

Vivian has been a longtime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Keedysville, MD.  She graduated from Boonsboro High School in 1955.  Vivian was previously employed by theWashington County Public School system in food service.  She loved doing ceramics, cooking food for family and friends, and watching TV Game Shows.  She was a collector of bells and baskets.

Vivian was married to Joe for 63 years and was a good mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Lyndell (Fonda), Brent (Peggy), Galen (Sandra), Dolan (Salli), grandchildren; Lindsey Clipp, Megan Clipp, Heather Shockley (John), Amy Clipp, Matthew Clipp and step grandson, Donovan Harbaugh; great-grandchildren, Peyton Virts, Sydnee Clipp, Noah Shockley.  She is also survived by sisters, Irene Palmer and Beverly Patterson and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Friday, December 3, 2021 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 53 S. Main Street, Keedysville, MD 21756 where a  celebration of Vivian's life journey will take place at 11am. The service will be led by Rev. Regina Beard, assisted by Rev. Darrell Layman and Rev. Eric Moser.

Interment will be at Boonsboro Cemetery in  Boonsboro, Maryland.
