Mrs. Vivian E. Bogley, 99, of Frederick, MD passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Reeder's Memorial Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Warner C. Bogley.
Born September 29, 1912 in Bethesda, MD she was the daughter of the late James and Christina Hager Broadhurst.
Mrs. Bogley worked as a crossing guard for Montgomery County Public Schools. Vivian was an active member of North Bethesda Methodist Church where she volunteered all of her time with church activities and functions. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and bowling.
She is survived by her daughters Lynda Clemons and husband Sid of VA, Carol DeMuth of WV, Evelyn Fox of WV and Shirley Taylor of WV; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and her brother Alfred Broadhurst and wife Frances of Potomac.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Christine Taylor and her brothers Roscoe, Wilfred, Henry, Carl, Ralph and Harold.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 10-11 AM where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Rev. Debbie Scott will officiate.
Interment will be at Parklawn Cemetery at a later date.
