Virginia Lee White

Virginia Lee White, 75, of New Market, MD, passed away on December 17th, 2022.

Known affectionately to friends and family as Peet or PeeWee, Virginia was born on June 19th 1947 to Orlando Euclid Marseglia and Bettina Eleanor Torcasio, both deceased. Virginia was loved by all of her patients, as she enjoyed most of her career managing offices in the medical field.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul James White and her two sons, Michael Paul White and his wife Kim, and her youngest son Robert Lawrence White and his fiancé Sarah. Virginia is also survived by her best friend through life and only sibling Betty Jane Moffitt and her husband Steve. Virginia will also be missed dearly by her surviving nieces and nephews and step-grand children.

Virginia will be most remembered for her singing and entertaining, her incredible sense of humor and interior design and her love of animals—particularly her cats.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Virginia’s life at Stauffer Funeral Home, located at 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt Airy, MD 21771 on December 30th, at 10am, followed afterwards by the burial services at Gate of Heaven in Aspen Hill at 1pm.
