Virginia M. Strailman

Virginia M. Strailman, 91, of Boonsboro, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Doey's House in Hagerstown.

Born on February 10, 1933, in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Mary Springer and Harry House, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll "Jerry" Strailman. 

Virginia was a graduate of Boonsboro High School. She was employed as a teller at the Boonsboro Bank, Columbia Bank and Hagerstown Trust. Virginia volunteered with Red Cross blood drives, Homemakers Club, and the Boonsboro elections. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and photography. 

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Gouker and her husband, Doug; grandchildren, Jennifer Calhoun and husband, Scott, Adam Kerns and wife, Valerie; great-grandchildren, Camdyn, Ethan and Caleb; and her brother, Harry, Jr.; and sister, Betty Wolf. 

Services were private.
